Laurel Boucher
Consultant
Laurel helps bring together the diverse interests of people
and organizations to achieve a common goal. She is an experienced
facilitator, team builder, conflict resolution specialist, and
trainer. In addition, she has been a Remedial Project Manager
and has managed numerous CERCLA and RCRA Corrective Action programs. In
1995, Laurel initiated the U.S. Department of Energy's Partnering
Program for Environmental Cleanup and Compliance. She has
helped the EPA, the State regulatory agencies, and the regulated
community streamline environmental decision-making, reduce decision-making
timeframes by half, and save millions of dollars from being spent
unnecessarily.

Laurel received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological
University, and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Old
Dominion University.
She has conducted over seventy workshops
and facilitated meetings in the past four years, with eighty
percent of these consisting of participants from EPA, State regulatory
agencies, and the regulated community. She has several
publications on improving communication and coordination in environmental
cleanup and compliance. She
demonstrates the value of teamwork and helps groups design, initiate,
and maintain productive partnerships.
